Aveline Gram

Aveline has participated this weekend at the Excellentia piano-competition in Linkebeek (Brussels). Saturday, 20 candidats presented themselves for the selection of the competition. Six candidats were chosen, including Aveline, to play at the finals on Sunday. Aveline received a 2nd prize and a lot of compliments by the jury. She was the youngest of the finalists and the only one with the Belgian nationality. The other nationalities were Spanish, Japonese, Filipino and French.

For the selections, Aveline played the Prélude & Fuga in f minor from J.S. Bach and the etude Op.10 n°4 of Fr. Chopin

For the finals, the program was:

  • 3rd mouvement of the Sonata op.109 from L. Van Beethoven
  • “Choral et Variations” from H. Dutilleux
  • Ballade n°1 from Fr. Chopin
